Healthy Mikołów with the Silesian Academy at the Auchan Mikołów Shopping Centre

Look after your health and that of your loved ones together with the Auchan Mikołów Shopping Centre. On Saturday, 17 October, we invite you to the ‘Healthy Mikołów with the Silesian Academy’ event, where you’ll be able to have a free ECG and blood pressure check, take part in first-aid workshops and gain practical knowledge about preventive healthcare.
From 10.00 am to 2.00 pm at the Auchan Mikołów Shopping Centre, 3 Gliwicka Street, a range of health-promoting activities organised in collaboration with the Silesian Academy will take place.
What can participants look forward to?
Free ECG and blood pressure checks
This is an opportunity to check your basic health indicators whilst visiting the centre and to take a moment to focus on preventative care.
First aid workshops
Participants will learn the principles of responding to situations where health or life is at risk and find out how to provide assistance to an injured person correctly.
Heart disease prevention
The event will also be an opportunity to learn more about looking after your heart on a daily basis and the importance of preventive healthcare.
Medical courses at the Silesian Academy
Those interested in studying and working in the health sector will be able to find out about the medical courses offered by the Silesian Academy.
Health whilst doing your daily shopping
“Healthy Mikołów with the Silesian Academy” is an event aimed at residents of Mikołów and the surrounding area who wish to combine their daily shopping with a moment dedicated to their health. You can come on your own, with loved ones or the whole family, and take part in the health checks, workshops and information sessions on preventative healthcare on offer.
The Auchan Mikołów Shopping Centre offers a large free car park, so you can easily combine attending the event with a visit to the centre’s shops and service outlets.
