REPLACE ELECTRICAL WASTE FOR A PLANT
Anyone who delivers used electronic equipment will be able to receive a fruit tree seedling or vegetables. The plant that grows out of them will certainly decorate your home garden. In addition, by taking part in the action, it will be possible to help the ISKIERKA Foundation, which provides social, psychological and financial support to children with cancer who are treated in Silesian paediatric oncology wards and their families. The account of this organization will be credited with the total income from the wastepaper delivered during the collection.
WORKSHOPS FOR CHILDREN
The collection will be accompanied by spring workshops taking place in the passage of the shopping mall. During play, children will learn how to recognize fruit and flower species and how to care for them. It will be possible to consolidate the acquired knowledge by watching an educational exhibition.
During the course, you will also be able to learn the secrets of fragrances hidden in nature and find out which of them are used in the production of perfumes.
On the other hand, during the creative workshops it will be possible to make unique gifts and cards for Mother's Day. Under the supervision of the instructors, children will prepare gifts made of wooden hearts decorated with shiny glitter. Young participants will also learn the scrapbooking technique and will use it to make cards for mothers. It will also be possible to make fancy key pendants or jewellery for mum.
PLANT EXCHANGE POINT
During our ecological action, you will be able to take part in the action and you will be able to take part in the replacement of potted plants. Anyone who brings a home plant will be able to exchange it for another.
Ecological workshops, wastepaper collection and plant exchange will take place on Saturday, May 21st. The action lasts from 10:00 to 17:00. Participation in the workshops is free of charge.
