REPLACE THE PAPER FOR A TREE SEEDLING
Anyone who delivers at least 10 kilograms of waste paper will be able to receive a seedling. The flower that grows out of it will certainly decorate your home garden or balcony. In addition, by taking part in the action, it will be possible to help the ISKIERKA Foundation, which provides financial, psychological and social support to children with cancer who are treated in Silesian paediatric oncology wards and their families. The account of this organization will be credited with the total income from the waste paper delivered during the collection.
WORKSHOPS FOR CHILDREN - WE KNOW THE SECRETS OF FORESTS
The collection will be accompanied by spring workshops taking place in the passage of the Shopping Centre. During the game, children will learn how to recognize the species of trees, herbs and flowers that can be found in the forest. They will also learn about the tracks of animals living in forests and learn how to behave during the trip so as not to frighten them or expose themselves to danger. It will be possible to consolidate the acquired knowledge by watching an educational exhibition. In turn, during the creative workshops, it will be possible to make figures of paper animals, chestnuts and acorns.
PLANT EXCHANGE POINT
We organize an exchange point for all plant lovers who would like to share their flowers at home. Anyone who brings a plant on April 2nd will be able to exchange it for another, which will be available at the point.
Ecological workshops and collection of waste paper will take place on Saturday, April 2nd. The action lasts from 10.00 to 17.00. Participation in the workshops is free of charge.
